The Buffs were the 3.5-point favorites heading into this weekend’s game against Texas Tech on November 9th, and they pulled out another win! Fans and experts were impressed with the team’s improvement from last season and are excited to see next weekend’s game!
Kansas State also won a crucial game this weekend against Iowa State, creating a huge opportunity for the Buffs in the Big 12 conference and leaving them in second place overall in the standings! This means they have a promising chance of ending up in the championship game.
Highlights
-The Buffs fell behind in the first quarter before securing their 41-27 victory. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 13-0 Texas.
-Shedeur Sanders continued his impressive performances, throwing for about 300 yards and leading the Buffs to another win. He completed 30 out of 43 passes and three touchdowns.
-Travis Hunter Delivered a standout performance ( like usual) with phenomenal catches and a key interception in the second half. He also had 9 crucial catches and a touchdown.
– Colorado’s defense had seven impressive sacks ( sack- when a member of the defense tackles the quarterback of the team in possession while he is behind the line of scrimmage), an interception, and two fumble recoveries (an occasion when a player gains control of the ball after the player who was carrying it has failed to hold on to it)
–Shilo Sanders was 30 of 43 for 291 yards, and he recovered a fumble in the end zone with 51 seconds left.
-Colorado is currently second in the BIG 12 conference standings and having their best and most exciting season in a while.
